These earrings are handmade in Pōneke using porcelain clay and a Japanese technique called nerikomi. Nerikomi is the layering and slicing of different coloured clay to reveal patterns. The nerikomi piece makes a wonderful gentle spinning motion when the wearer moves about. The handcrafted sterling silver rectangular hoops mean they are great for sensitive ears. The porcelain is durable enough to be worn daily and they are comfortable and light to wear. Sold as a pair. Around 30mm in length.
