Māori Mermaid, WhakangāMaterial: Digital illustration Paper: Silk Matte Paper, 297x420mmYear: 2020Concept: We are so burdened by the expectations of a society that tries its best to keep us down, I drew this piece in the hopes to literally encourage people to cast off their bras, their ties, their blazers, their shoes, pour a glass of something comforting and whakangā, take breath, rest, RELAX. You’re too hot and life is too short.
