This work is part of Ahi Nyx's (Te Āti Awa me Ngāti Raukawa) exhibition Going for a harvest with kete kupenga at Moana Fresh's Kū Kahiko Gallery. The mahi behind the work seeks to reconnect to Māori traditional harvesting practices by remembering what was taken during colonisation.
