Do Not Disturb by Helen Satele
This painting, titled "Do Not Disturb" is a reminder to carve out time for ourselves. In the hustle of everyday life, we often get caught up in the busyness and forget the importance of slowing down, breathing, and creating a safe space to reflect and recharge. The woman's smudged face symbolises her desire to be left undisturbed, fully immersed in her own world, focused on her inner peace and energy. Do Not Disturb speaks to the sacredness of this moment, where the woman and her inner child are in harmony, finding stillness and peace in a world that often demands attention. The meditative state they’re in is an invitation to be still and nurture the connection within, a time to block out distractions and focus on personal healing, growth, and reflection.
