Handmade original print of the "ili" - the hand-fan as it is known in Samoa. The hand-fan is traditionally made from the closely woven leaves of pandanus, coconut and palm. A staple in almost every household, these beautiful, delicate fans are versatile and multi-functional.
This is a modern contemporary nod to that everyday household item and would make the perfect funky wall art to any home.
Printed from a hand-carved rubber carving block and printed with high quality fade resistant archival pigment ink.
Printed on Fabriano white paper. 120gsm. Archival quality.
