ORA | Bilingual Hauora Journal by Tehani Buchanan
ORA journal was born from the framework of Te Whare Tapa Whā by Tā Mason Durie, a model that speaks to balance across four dimensions of wellbeing: taha wairua (spiritual), taha hinengaro (mental & emotional), taha tinana (physical) and taha whānau (family and community).
Its pages hold space for reflection, guiding the writer to restore strength where walls have weakened, and to rediscover the harmony that comes when each side of the whare stands strong.
What began as a deeply personal tool for the author, this 260-page, bilingual journal offers a vessel for others to reconnect with themselves.
Like a whare that shelters, this journal does not claim to heal on its own, but provides a structure, a rhythm and an invitation to rebuild" - Chloē Reweti
