Hōhā nei au Fuzzy

Hōhā nei au is named after the KOMMI waiata Turei had on loop while making the work. She is herself, both young and old, angry and calm. She is compassion fueled by rage and undaunted by politics of yesterday, day or tomorrow.

She's pono ki te kaupapa "whakatau te mauri." She's waging war through calculated acts of kindess. She's resting when her body tells her to and attentive to the karanga of her tūpuna.
