Ko Aroha te kaiārahi o tēnei waka. He uri ia o ngā iwi Ngāti Raukawa rāua ko Ngāti Ranginui. Aroha is the creator of Maimoa Creative. She is a graphic designer, hand lettering artist, wife to a passionate Māori teacher, māmā, perfectionist, learner, and advocate for te reo Māori.
Maimoa Creative was birthed out of her desire to fuse two of her passions (typography & te ao Māori) to help normalise te reo Māori in Aotearoa and support other learners on their journey.—Ko Hamuera tō Aroha hoa rangatira, he uri ia o ngā iwi Ngāti Mutunga rāua ko Te Atiawa.Hamuera is Aroha’s husband. He is a te reo Māori teacher, as well as the 'Māori advisor' for Maimoa.—Ko Te Rauriki rāua ko Manahau ngā tamariki.Te Rauriki and Manahau are their adorable kids.
