Ko wai mātou | Who are we
Ko Aroha te kaiārahi o tēnei waka. He uri ia o ngā iwi Ngāti Raukawa rāua ko Ngāti Ranginui. Aroha is the creator of Maimoa Creative. She is a graphic designer, hand lettering artist, wife to a passionate Māori teacher, māmā, perfectionist, learner, and advocate for te reo Māori.
Maimoa Creative was birthed out of her desire to fuse two of her passions (typography & te ao Māori) to help normalise te reo Māori in Aotearoa and support other learners on their journey.

Ko Hamuera tō Aroha hoa rangatira, he uri ia o ngā iwi Ngāti Mutunga rāua ko Te Atiawa.
Hamuera is Aroha’s husband. He is a te reo Māori teacher, as well as the 'Māori advisor' for Maimoa.

Ko Te Rauriki rāua ko Manahau ngā tamariki.
Te Rauriki and Manahau are their adorable kids. They are the main inspiration for prioritising te reo Māori in their whānau.
