PŪHIA: Journal for Māori art and literature
ISSUE RUA is the second instalment of a journal dedicated to showcasing literature and art by Māori creatives. PŪHIA is edited and published by the voice behind the popularInstagram page@maorilitblog. It aims to broadcast emerging and established Māori voices in the literary world. This new issue collects work by thirty contributors, including Ockham-shortlisted poet Isla Huia, singer-songwriter Anika Moa, Jessica Hinerangi Thompson Carr (whose debut collection Āria released in 2023), and Ariana Tikao, author of Mokorua.
